RE: NOTORE CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES PLC. – NOTIFICATION OF POSTPONEMENT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 6th Annual General Meeting of NOTORE CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES PLC. (“Notore” or “the Company”) scheduled to hold on Thursday 26th March, 2020 at the Notore Industrial Complex, Onne, Rivers State has hereby been postponed until further notice.
This decision has been taken following the health advisory of the World Health Organisation (“WHO”) and the travel ban directives issued by the Federal Government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Nigeria. Being a responsible member of the global community, Notore remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all Stakeholders and members of the public. Notore is closely following the developments and guidelines that will likely be issued by the Federal Government with regard to the COVID-19 virus and expressly reserves the right to take any further measures with regard to the scheduling of the Annual General Meeting.
Notore will continue to monitor and assess the situation and will communicate a new date for the holding of the Annual General Meeting.
The Company regrets any inconvenience the postponement may cause its Shareholders and other Stakeholders.
Shareholders are requested to visit the Company’s website (www.notore.com) regularly for further updates regarding the Annual General Meeting.
