Notore Power Limited (Notore Power), an indigenous independent power producer (IPP), has just signed a Joint Development Agreement with ContourGlobal to develop, construct, finance and operate a gas-fired power station with an available capacity of 500 MW at its existing facility at the Notore Industrial Complex in Onne, Rivers State, Nigeria. The plan is to sell the electricity generated by the plant to the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading PLC.
Notore Chemical Industries Limited (Notore), owner of the only urea fertiliser plant in sub-Saharan Africa, has just signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Mitsubishi Corporation at Mitsubishi’s corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan to develop an ammonia, urea and other petrochemicals project at its existing facility at Onne, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Notore Chemical Industries Limited (Notore) has signed a Technical Services Agreement (“TSA”) with Tata Chemicals Limited, India (“Tata Chemicals”) commencing April 2011. This Technical Services Agreement with Tata Chemicals will assist Notore in further optimizing and achieving breakthrough performance in the operations of its fertiliser plant in Onne, Rivers State.
Tata Chemicals is an integrated chemicals company, a part of the Tata Group of companies which operates one of the most efficient and successful Urea fertiliser plant located in Babrala, Northern India. This deep operating excellence will be brought to bear on Notore’s operations.
